There are mainly four ways to give a shape to the diamonds for the rings. These are heart, pear, square and rectangle. If you chose to have a diamond of heart or pear outlines, then, know that it requires more time and skills from the jewelers. Hence, the costs will go higher.

If, however, budget is your concern, then opt for square or rectangle shapes that are less expensive as the jeweler does not have to spend much time, labor and skills. Thus, plan to cut the diamond for a particular shape as per your budget and the overall designing of the ring.
